Intense red with garnet rim. The nose is broad and powerful with notes of violets, red currants, spices and tobacco. In the mouth it has balanced tannins, a fleshy mid palate and a mouth-cleansing finish. An elegant wine that is a superb accompaniment to roast meats, braised beef and seasoned cheese.
