Reinforced Water Activated Tape

Our reinforced water activated tape, also known as fiberglass gummed tape, is constructed with kraft paper backing embedded with fiberglass yarns and coated with modified starch adhesive. The tape is non-sticky in dry condition. Once wetted with water, the starch adhesive activates and creates a permanent bond merging with corrugated cardboard fibers. The built-in glass fiber strands greatly boost tensile strength and tear resistance.

It delivers superior heavy-duty sealing performance compared to ordinary water activated tape. Even under heavy weight, long transit or rough handling, it resists bursting and splitting. It is fully biodegradable, tamper-evident, and leaves no sticky residue after removal. The surface can be written on for marking shipping details.
