Solution Composition
The solution mainly consists of four parts: H3C IoT APs, IoT boxes, IoT modules, and supplementary positioning beacons. It supports Wi-Fi communication and all mainstream IoT protocols, enabling integrated active positioning, passive positioning, and communication access over a single network. It is suitable for hospitals that need to deploy both Wi-Fi and IoT simultaneously, or hospitals that already have Wi-Fi deployed with APs supporting IoT expansion.

Hardware Details
The H3C IoT AP provides a standard PSE Ethernet port. The PSE port connects to the IoT box via an Ethernet cable. The IoT box has a built-in card slot for placing an IoT module, providing power and a network backhaul channel for the module. The IoT modules are plug‑and‑play, requiring no separate cabling or construction, which lowers deployment costs and simplifies maintenance. H3C IoT boxes support daisy‑chain connections, with a maximum of 10 IoT boxes connected in series.
