Although SGS shall make every effort to ensure the accuracy and contemporariness of the information provided by the Advertiser and any such publicly available sources during performance of the Services, SGS has no control of and thus cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy and authenticity of such information. Therefore, SGS shall disclaim any and all liability for the accuracy of such information. The Services do not warrant that the goods and/or services of the Advertiser will meet any particular criteria of quality or performance. The Advertisers and any third party are responsible for their decisions to make whatever use of the results of the Services and shall accept all risks for any loss or damage of any kind that may occur.  Bodegas Lleiroso  is located in  Valbuena   de Duero , Valladolid, Spain, in the so-called  «The Golden Mile» of the Ribera del Duero. 
We make our wines under the rules of the D.O. Ribera del Duero.

The main objective of this innovative Winery is the  elaboration and ageing  of elite wines.

 Soils  in the region are  clayey-calcareous , with brown-grey streaks and an alluvial area.

The Ribera del Duero has moderate to  low rainfall ,  dry   summers  with temperatures of up to 40&ordm;C, and    long   harsh winters , with temperatures reaching -18&ordm;C. The climate is a mixture between  Continental  and  Mediterranean.  

Our Winery is located at an altitude of    780 m  above sea level. 

The grape variety used in Bodegas Lleiroso is the  Tempranillo , also called  tinta     del   pa&iacute;s    or  tinta     fina .

Grapes come from vineyards of  more than 25 years  which grow in privileged soils.

An  exhaustive control  is carried out in the  selection  of grapes in order to elaborate only  first-class wines . 

Wine-making process
  •Manual harvesting  in 15k cases   •After the selection table and manual de-stemming, we separate and crush directly in tanks   •Advanced technology: truncated-cone tanks with auto-cooling jackets, freezing equipment, pneumatic presses…   •Fermentation time: 8 to 20 days   •Fermentation T&ordm;:  25&ordm; - 28&ordm;C   •Malolactic Fermentation in stainless       steel tanks

In January, after a couple of months in tanks, the wine is transferred to French and American Oak barrels.

Ageing time depends on the labels
being elaborated and on the harvest.
It goes from 6 to 24 months.
