IKETOME Recommendation

About IKETOME

IKETOME Co., Ltd. is a specialty liquor company based in Kawagoe, Saitama, Japan, with more than 200 years of experience in the liquor business.

For generations, we have developed expertise through the retail and wholesale of alcoholic beverages and long-standing relationships with producers. Today, in addition to our domestic business focusing on wine and Japanese sake, we introduce selected Japanese alcoholic beverages to overseas markets.

We are not simply an exporter. We carefully select distinctive products from across Japan based on quality, craftsmanship, regional character, unique production techniques, carefully selected ingredients, and the stories behind the producers.

In particular, we actively seek out small and medium-sized producers that are not yet widely known overseas, as well as distinctive products rooted in their local regions. Our export portfolio includes Japanese sake, Japanese wine, liqueurs, spirits, whisky, and other distinctive Japanese alcoholic beverages.

One of our key strengths is our network of multiple Japanese sake breweries, wineries, distilleries, and other producers. We are not tied to a single producer, allowing us to offer a diverse range of products according to the needs of each overseas market.

For overseas buyers, IKETOME can serve as one contact point for discovering and sourcing selected products from multiple Japanese producers. Instead of contacting producers individually, buyers can consult with us about product selection and potential business opportunities.

We support our overseas partners with product selection, samples, pricing, MOQ, export conditions, business discussions, and export arrangements. Because regulations, existing distribution agreements, product characteristics, and market needs vary by country and region, we propose suitable products according to the requirements of each market.

IKETOME also has many years of experience handling European wines, particularly wines from France. Our expertise across wine, Japanese sake, and other alcoholic beverages allows us to consider product quality, food culture, drinking occasions, consumer preferences, and price positioning when proposing products for overseas markets.

Through IKETOME SELECTIONS, we aim to connect outstanding Japanese producers and their distinctive products with suitable markets around the world.

We value long-term partnerships with importers and distributors looking for new and distinctive Japanese products.
