Lam Leuk Hong Limited engaged mainly in the stationery import, export, wholesale distribution for the past 50 years, coinciding the development of the Hong Kong which went through several stages of economic transformation during the same period. The history of the company proves that Lam Leuk Hong Limited always grows hand in hand with Hong Kong. If the economic development of Hong Kong is a miracle, Lam Leuk Hong is a common case in the miracle. In 1946, Mr. Lam Hin Leuk, the founder of the company, established Kwok Kwong Company in Hong Kong, mainly involving in retail sale and distribution of stationery in local market. During 1950s and 1960s, the import businesses were monopolized by the so-called "big trading house" ( well-know for their "Tai Bans") of British or western capital background. In 1950s, Mr. Lam changed the name of the company from "Kwok Kwong Company" to "Lam Leuk Stationery Company" and began the agency operation for certain foreign stationery items. Lam Leuk Stationery Company at first secured the Hong Kong and Macao sole distributorship for three Japanese brand name, i.e. "Megami" printing ink and "Artline" markers and "Xstamper" stamper from Shachihate Inc.It also handled sale of products distributed by other leading trading houses, Always with ample stock and high quality products to provide, Lam Leuk Stationery Company successfully developed into one of the mid-size stationery distributors in Hong Kong.
