Nuova Vite (“New Vine”) is a boutique and family owned winery located in Salento, Southern Italy. It produces 100% estate grown and bottled wines. Antonio Longo is an engineer with an immense passion for wines. Nuova Vite winery was built in 1978. His commitment to produce high quality wines and rigorous standards of grape growing and harvesting results in a unique taste and richness of the wines. The Mediterranean climate and fertile soil of Southern Italy create a perfect environment to grow indigenous varietals such as Primitivo (known in the world as the father of Zinfandel), Negroamaro and Verdeca, side by side with Chardonnay, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon with their IGT Salento.
