Tenuta Badia di Marrona

 Badia di Morrona (Abbey of Morrona) near Morrona in the township of Terricciola, province of Pisa is located in the upper Valdera (Era river valley) between Pisa and Livorno. 

Founded in 1939, it has a total area of over 500 hectares (1250 acres), with slightly less than 100 hectares (250 acres) planted to vineyards, approximately 30 hectares to olive groves, around 575 to grain, and the remaining part consisting of woodlands. 

Grape's Varieties are predominantly Sangiovese, Vermentino, and international varieties. 

Wines Produced: Vigna Alta (IGT), N’Antia(IGT), Taneto (IGT), Chianti I Sodi del Paretaio (DOCG), La Suvera (IGT), Felciaio (IGT), Vinsanto (DOC), and Giulebbe (IGT). 

Today Badia di Morrona produce overall sales of 270,000 bottles per year Foreign Markets UK, Germany, Japan, USA, Belgium, Holland, China, Ireland, Taiwan.
