DALI Alliance

The DALI Alliance, also known as the Digital Illumination Interface Alliance (DiiA), is an open global alliance of smart lighting manufacturers. It aims to achieve digital communication among devices in smart lighting systems through unified international standardized protocols and promote the application of Digital Addressable Lighting Interface (DALI) technology in smart lighting control systems.

DALI is an open, unified, and compatible smart lighting control protocol based on the international IEC 62386 series of standards, formulated by the DALI Alliance and applicable worldwide. After years of development, the DALI Alliance has expanded the DALI protocol and introduced certification programs, including the published standards such as DALI-2, D4i, and DALI+. Products certified by DALI-2 are compatible and interoperable, enabling intelligent and efficient control of lighting systems, including precise dimming, color temperature adjustment, color adjustment, and support for sensors, switch panels, and other devices. Importantly, it can monitor and collect asset data, operational data, and energy efficiency data of luminaires, analyze and diagnose them, and support emergency lighting self-test functions. The DALI smart lighting system can be integrated into building automation systems or IoT systems, interconnecting with other building systems and smart city systems.
