Two of the four autumn tech fairs, namely the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) and the Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo, are running from 27 to 31 October and showcasing lighting innovations from around 3,000 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions.
Lighting Fair’s Hall of Connected Lighting Brings Together Some 70 Leading Brands
Themed “Illuminated Designs for a Smarter Future”, the autumn lighting fairs will feature a variety of award-winning designs with lighting products used in globally renowned projects – including LED drivers and fixtures applied at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore, and lighting control systems used at the Sanxingdui Museum and the BBC’s London headquarters and Hong Kong’s M+ Museum.
Highlighting developments in sustainability, healthy living and silver economy technologies, featured zones include:
- Hall of Connected Lighting will bring around 70 top-tier lighting brands from internationally, featuring innovations such as the smart switch
- Hall of Aurora that highlights 540 renowned brands with trendy designs
- Artisan Café illuminated and supported by ERCO, a globally renowned architectural and commercial lighting brand
- Smart Pole and Solution Zone at the Outdoor & Tech Light Expo featuring innovative solutions that aid in smart city planning and energy efficiency optimization
- Commercial Lighting, Residential Lighting and LED Lighting and LED Essentials for a comprehensive lighting product showcase
The two fairs will also feature a series of forums and seminars, including the Innovative Lighting Design Forum held on Day 1. Key topics include:
- City Design. Design City: Lighting Design Bound Up with Daily Life
- RCEP Opportunities Shining Through Cultural Lighting Design
Another key event, the Connected Lighting Forum on Day 2, will discuss two main themes:
