Home InStyle & Fashion InStyle: Global Lifestyle Products Showcase

During the Fair, NewsBites talked to several exhibitors who have already been using our Sourcing platform and very keen to promote their signature products, one of which is Sunny Age Limited that sells all kinds of wood accessories such as handbags, stationery, storage baskets and lamps. According to their General Manager Mr. Tim Lau, their products are designed locally in Hong Kong and emphasize sustainability. Made mainly of oak wood or ash wood, the products are certified with ESG accreditation. But identifying reliable suppliers throughout the entire supply chain who are ESG-certified remains a challenge.

The company received online enquiries on hktdc.com Sourcing from European buyers, and one Italian potential customer even visited their booth physically. Tim believed it is always important to embrace changes such as sustainability in order to thrive in the increasingly competitive homeware industry.

Technology and Innovation Bring Exceptional Convenience to Customers

Another exhibitor that we spoke with was Ultmost Electronic Limited featuring bathroom fixtures and accessories ranging from soap dispensers to alcohol sanitizers. Their Sales Manager Mr. Tony Wei told us the company met online with some quality Japanese buyers via Click2Match who would like to purchase their home appliances. They also came across some European, Canadian and UK customers via hktdc.com Sourcing and made successful deals.

Leveraging their exclusive patented technology, the company stands out in the market with their newly launched “FoamShield” machine that received numerous enquiries both online and at the Fair. Before using the toilet, operate the “FoamShield” to spray thick foam on the toilet water surface to prevent dirty water from splashing, unpleasant odors spreading, and providing a pleasant environment for the next toilet user to avoid social embarrassment. Tony believed such innovation and technology will be the cornerstone of future products.

Fashion Brand Transitions to Greener Style

Moving to the Fashion InStyle area, NewsBites saw a number of foreign buyers enquiring at Lei Shing Industrial Company Limited which displayed a wall of attractive embroideries. The company’s General Manager Mr. Jacky Chan said the company has engaged in the fashion industry for over 30 years, and riding on the latest ESG trends, they are transitioning to greener, recycled materials when creating their patches and bags. During the process, they did encounter challenges such as balancing customer requirements and sustainability, but they persist to adapt to eco-friendly raw materials while meeting customisation needs through more delicate stitches and using advanced sewing tools.

Talking about the Fair, Jacky met with some sincere buyers from New Zealand, Sweden and Taiwan who were more pragmatic and keen to purchase. They also saw visitors scanning the QR code of Scan2Match to connect further.

Lastly, Welcome Co., Ltd. which features a variety of portable vacuum storage bag and mini bag sealer from Taiwan attracted many visitors’ attention. The company’s CEO Ms. Ammy Chou commented the Fair brought both B2B and B2C customers. They are optimizing digital and KOL marketing to promote their products further, while developing innovative products at the same time.
